Consolidated Biscuit Co. Ltd started operations in April 1982 producing top quality biscuits, baked confectionery and snack foods for the local Maltese market and international markets world-wide.
Consolidated Biscuit produces a wide assortment of biscuits and traditional Maltese water crackers. The range includes chocolate-coated biscuits, cookies, cream-filled sandwich biscuits, plain and savoury crackers and semi-sweet biscuits. We also produce a variety of ‘Gluten Free’ corn and rice-extruded snacks and flavoured potato-based snack foods.
Consolidated Biscuits today employs around 180 people and exports to over 26 different countries. In 2014, Consolidated Biscuits invested in a new lamination line and a new mixing area to meet the increase in demand from our international clients. In 2017, the company invested in a new logistics centre to be in a better position to handle the increase in production capacity.
Consolidated Biscuit is BRC certified and operates through a certified Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system which is internationally recognized as being one of the most effective food safety control systems in the food industry.
