Importers & Distributors of High Performance Coatings
Mac Med Limited was set up specifically to cater for the distribution of a full range of British decorative coatings from the market leading brands Crown, Macpherson and Sandtex , as well as other high performance coatings.
The latter range is imported under the International Paint brand, formerly part of Courtaulds and now a wholly owned subsidiary of Akzo Nobel. These include Yacht Paints (started in 1996), Marine Paints (2007) and Protective Coatings (2009) used for anti-corrosion and passive fire protecting systems. Indeed, a full range of coloured primers and topcoats are custom made locally using International’s highly advanced Chromascan® computerised tinting system. Akzo Nobel have recently also entrusted us with the distribution of their leading Aerospace Coatings thereby serving all MROs in Malta.
The company completes the range through the importation and distribution of other high quality coating materials such as:

– Italian Style coloured renders and Thermal Coatings by Atriathermika®
– Odourless self levelling epoxy screeds by Stonhard®
– Liquid Damp Proof Membranes by Tremco illbruck®

Ours is a trusted offering with an ever increasing number of infrastructural projects being protected and embellished with the application of our products. Due to this growth, the company shall take up new premises in the Bulebel Industrial Estate in 2015.

We offer specialist application services through our own teams of certified applicators. Architects and interior designers regularly recommend such specialist services in the application of stuccos and epoxy / sports floor coatings.
These services are supplemented through the importation, exclusive distribution and installation of Tarkett® and Dycem® Flooring Solutions, both worldwide leaders in the manufacture of resilient floor coverings for use in health centres, homes for the elderly, industrial, educational, commercial and retailing establishments.
We have enhanced the services offered by WallToFloor through the supply and installation of a full range of heavy duty and light weight shelving units, retail shop fittings and archiving systems, all imported from two of Italy’s leading manufacturers.
